Ashley Lake
Still catching Salmon either trolling or jigging. A few decent Rainbows being caught with Rooster Tails and Power Bait.

Blanchard Lake
Use a punch style lure mid-day in thick cover to catch Bass. Early morning and late evening are a good times to use top water baits.

Church Slough
A few larger Pike have been caught in thick weed cover. Northland Reed Runners are an excellent choice. Lots of small Perch.
Echo Lake
Perch bite is doing well in the 14ft range. Fish around heavy weeds and jig in the pockets. Bass are doing well around structure using a drop shot wacky rig.

Flathead Lake
A few Whitefish being caught but spotty. Big bite is a week or two out. Best spot is Elmo/Big Arm area. Trolling around d80ft has been productive for Lakers.

Flathead River
Cutthroat action has been doing very good in many locations. Good flies to use are Red Humphy’s, PMD, Purple Haze and Blue Quill. Yellow/Red dot Panther Martins with worm chunks are great for spin casting.

Hungry Horse Reservoir
Graves Bay is a great place to catch Cutthroat. Anglers are trolling Cowbells and a Wedding Ring. Bull Trout are catch and release!

Koocanusa
Salmon bite is on fire with bigger than average size. Good results from trolling and jigging. Jumbo Kamloops are also doing well using planer boards and a Plug It lure.

Lake Mary Ronan
Excellent Perch fishing right now with reports of nice size. Focus in front of Tuffit and in 18ft of water. Jig small spoons like Northland Forage Jig and tip with maggots.

Lower Stillwater
Perch bite is getting better. Look for pockets in weeds and jig aggressive. Lots of small Pike so be ready to lose a couple lures when Perch fishing.

McGregor
Good Lake Trout action when trolling deep transition zones in the early AM. These areas are around 80ft down and drop rapidly.

Pine Grove Pond
Great place to take the family fishing. Use small chunks of worms under a bobber or a Red/White Mepps with Power Bait.

Smith Lake
Good place for the kids to catch smaller Pike. A black and orange Reed Runner is great to use.

Thompson Chain
Perch have been doing well on both Lower and Middle. Look for large weed beds. These areas are also good to catch large Northerns. Salmon has been a little slow on Middle, but they are nice size.

Upper Stillwater
Reports of large Pike being caught in the NW end using 5ofDiamonds Dare Devils. A few decent Perch, but mostly around 6in.
