Snappy's Fishing Report Fishing Hotline: 756-BAIT (2248) Thompson Lakes: - Kokanee fishing has been good mostly trolling. Good numbers of perch, few pike, and bass also.
Bitterroot Lake: Kokanee fishing has been great both trolling and jigging 30'-60'. Trolling fish seem to be suspended mid depth. Look for fish to go deeper as water temp increases. Ashley Lake: Kokanee & Rainbows have been biting good early morning. Foys Lake: Bait fishing Rainbows. Few on flies. Only getting better as we move into June. Flathead Lake: No great news. Look for Lake Trout to start suspending as water temp rises. Jigging anywhere from 60'-180'. Flathead River: A little muddy. Reports have been up and down only going to get better as water clears. Lake Mary Ronan: Kokanee fishing good early morning. Perch should be turning on soon. Some good fish have been caught already.

We would like to put in at the Kookoosint launch on the Flathead River this weekend and fish that stretch of the river in Perma area. This will be our first time fishing there. Any advice on what to fish for and what set-up to use? 6/17/2015 05:29:52 am
