Hubbard Reservoir
Excellent Smallmouth Bass action. Try running a Wacky Worm on a drop shot rig for best results. Also try top water frogs later in the evening.

Koocanusa
Good trolling action on the trout. Run a PlugIt lure at least 200yds behind the boat. Pay attention to sonar for depth changes. Salmon has been good all week using a glow white/pink Hali with maggots.

Lake Mary Ronan
Jig with glo hooks tipped with corn in about 20ft of water. Focus towards the South end. Perch Bite has been good this past week. Jig for these in about 17ft off the bottom using a green Hali.
Ashley Lake
Try jigging in front of West End Access. Look for 60ft of water and use a white Hali tipped with corn and maggots. Salmon will be anywhere from 10ft below the surface down to 40ft. So, pay attention to your sonar and adjust depth.

Blanchard Lake
Reports of nice Pike being caught on double bladed spinner baits. Look for weed beds and cast just beyond. Control your desired depth by adjusting the speed of your retrieve.

Church Slough
Anglers are seeing large Pike resting on or partially covered in dense weed beds. Try downsizing your presentation to help trigger a bite response. Reports of a few decent Perch.

Echo Lake
Best times are early morning and later in the evening into the night. Try a black top water lure after dark and hold on!

Fennon Slough
Great Perch fishing around the 10ft range. Focus close to structure. Use Pete’s Crappie Candy with a Big Eye Spinner. This lure also works great for the Crappie and Bass.

Flathead Lake
Once again it has been a great week for Lakers! Pull a jointed Rapala that dives 8-12ft deep. Cruise the mud line about 1.5mph. Somers Bay has had good Smallmouth Bass action early in the day.

Flathead River
Water flow continues to clear but recent rains will keep the flow up. Good spots down low are Sportsman Bridge and Pressentine Bar. Good reports by Crossover Bridge on South Fork. Try Glacier Rim and Blankenship Bridge.

Hungry Horse Reservoir
Great reports of smaller Cutthroat around water inlets. Nymphs work great for fly fishing and Mepps Spinners with worm chunks for spin casting. It also helps to have a second pole with worms under a bobber.

Lower Stillwater
Perch fishing has been on the slow side. To get a better bite, use a 1/8oz pink jig and a leech. Just jig over the boat or cast out under a bobber. Good Pike action but around 3-5lb average.

Pine Grove Pond
Great place to take the kids (of all ages) fishing. Younger kids can enjoy catching Rainbows using a worm under a bobber. More experienced kids can cast a Rooster Tail with Power Bait.

Smith Lake
If you want to catch fish, this lake is GREAT! Lots of small Pike being caught right off the dock using a black spinner with orange blades.
