Ice conditions are changing rapidly with recent rain and wind. Smaller, shallow lakes are open, but larger deeper lakes still have some ice.
Most shoreline is gone, and rather large portion still has ice.
Shorelines are going quick with rotten top layer on ice sheet.
Open water and water level is low, so launch is muddy. Reports of medium sized Pike.
Open water through out lake. Crank baits that dive deep in a red craw pattern works well for Bass. Big Sky Bass Bash Tourney on 04/27.
Fishing off the delta has produced good numbers of smaller Lake Trout in 60-120’. Jig using a Doodlebug from Zimmer Tackle. East Bay is open with no reports on Perch.
Water levels continue to rise with slight discoloration. Nymphs work best like a Bead Head Pheasant Tail. Use a #0 Mepp’s in red & white.

No recent reports of ice conditions other than open shores and large ice sheet.
Still froze over with 18” of solid black ice. However, top 8” is slush and water! Be Careful!
Open Water. No recent reports.
Both East and West ends are still frozen but going quick. Boisuert’s Access is open for boats.
Shoreline is open but still large sheets of rotten ice.
NW end still has ice, but State Park access is open water.
