New Fishing Licenses go on sale Feb 19th. The new season starts March 1st. Your Existing fishing license will still be valid through Feb 28th.

Ashley Lake
Salmon fishing has been good. Try in front of the main access, 300yds out in 60ft water. Use some Zoom to keep them in the area.

Bitterroot Lake
Around 10in of ice in spots and slush. Salmon has been great around the South End. Hali’s have worked great. Also, the Swedish Pimple with a Rat Finke and dropper.
Blanchard Lake
Some spots have 10in of ice and lots of slush. Good numbers of smaller Perch and Crappie. Reports of nice Sunnies being caught.

Church Slough
10in of ice and 6in of water and slush on top. Pike fishing has really picked up. Try a tip-up with frozen whole fish on a Pike Hanger Rig. Tons of small Perch as well.

Echo Lake
6-10in of ice with water and slush. Great spot to take the kids Perch fishing. Use Snare Spoons tipped with maggots in 14ft of water off the bottom. Pike fishing has been slow, but aggressively jig a Dare Devil with a tip-up close by might product a bit or two.

Flathead Lake
Somers Bay has good ice with minimal slush. Reports of nice Lake Trout being caught. Try using a Zimmer Glo Grub with a small chuck of cut bait off the bottom anywhere from 40-60ft.

Horseshoe Lake (Ferndale)
Lots of smaller Perch with the occasional nice one. For Bass, fish deeper pockets using an Orange Forage Spoon with maggots.

Lake Mary Ronan
Around 10in of ice and lots of water and slush. Salmon fishing has still been slow. Perch fishing has its moments, so be hole hopping. Prizm Stix have been the hot ticket on slower days. Tip them with wax worms.

Lion Lake
This Saturday is the Canyon Kids Xmas Fund Derby. There is a lot of slush on top of 14in of ice. Fun place to catch small Perch. Large Rainbows are few but can be caught using VMC Tingler Spoon.

Lower Stillwater
The ice is thick and so is the snow. Forgot to mention all the water and slush!!! 4 Wheelers are getting stuck so use caution. Perch fishing has picked up. Pete’s Sassy Stingers are getting people on bigger fish.

Smith Lake
Lots of ice and some slush. Perch fishing has slowed so be on the move and downsize your presentation. Diamond Head Jigs seem to do well with a wax worm or half a meal worm to act as a tail.

Swan Lake
Around 8in of ice in spots. Pike fishing has been decent on the North and South ends. Tip-ups along with a jigging rod with a green ball jog and white Twister Tail should land some nice fish.

Thompson Chain
Good ice all around with lots of snow/slush mix.
Upper – Panfish Tourney has been canceled.
Middle – Decent Perch in 40ft. Some Pike by the boat ramp.
Lower – Fishing has slowed so be on the move to catch Perch.
Crystal – Salmon has been good lately.

No recent reports. So no idea what the snow slush conditions are. However last week had 3-6" of ice last week.

We haven't heard any specific reports lately. It's got safe ice and probably rainbows and some Kokannee. Just no recent reports.

Should be ok up too. You'd probably have to walk down to the launch though.
