Smith Lake
10” of ice. Lots of Pike using orange jigs with black twister tails. Perch can be tricky so use Finesse Plastics. Be sure and watch your limits!

Blanchard Lake
6” of ice and slush. For Crappie, keep searching in areas near weed beds or deeper structure. Glow hooks work well. Pike have been caught using tip-ups in 6-12’.

Beaver Lake
Good Salmon fishing on 6” of ice and slush. The road in is still accessible. A few decent Rainbows being reported.
Stillwater Lake
12” of ice and some slush. Smaller Pike north of islands with sever Perch mixed in. Know your Perch limits!

Dickey Lake
Reports are coming in of Salmon being caught. Try off the boat landing and to the right. Hali Jigs work really well.

Lake Five
7” of ice and slush. Salmon numbers have been good. Look for 60’ or water and fish about 20’ down. For best results use a #3 Swedish Pimple and #6 Pink Rat Finke.

Echo Lake
6” of ice in most spots and slush. Perch fishing is good for kids. Whitefish are being caught in 30’ using Forage Minnows and Maggots.

Horseshoe Lake (Ferndale)
Good spot for Crappie. Use a Demon Jig with wax worms and work the whole column. Lots of small Perch mixed in with Smallmouth Bass.

Van Lake
6” of ice and slush. A few decent Rainbows have been landed using Orange or Pink Forage Minnows.

Swan Lake
Shallow water on the North End has some nice Pike. Use caution as the rest of the lake is unsafe!

Lake Mary Ronan
Good ice around 8” and thicker in spots. Perch size and numbers have been good. Lots of algae in the water. Reports of Salmon are coming in. **Remember Snappy’s FREE Tourney Feb 16th**

Rodgers Lake
7” of ice and some slush. Fishing has slowed but a reward is a nice Cutthroat. Grayling is also slow.

Bitterroot Lake
There are reports of Salmon in front of Boy Scout Camp. Ice is still unsafe in deeper water. Nice Perch on south east corner of the island.

Ashely Lake
Around 5” of ice. So far good reports of Salmon using Hali’s tipped with maggots.

Hubbard Reservoir
8” of ice and slush. Good numbers of Salmon so far. Rainbows have also been doing well.

Thompson Chain of Lakes
Upper has been doing well for both Perch and Suspended Salmon. Middle is fishing well for Perch in 30’. Rainbows try shallow 6’. Middle of the lake is still UNSAFE! Lower has been decent, then slow for Perch. The derby is this weekend (1/26 & 1/27). STAY SAFE!

Any info on location and depth of salmon at beaver? Access from south side boat launch?

Thanks

Best guess on depth is 40'. Access with this new snow might be difficult. Mostly seeing fish right out in front of fishing access. Hope this helps.

Where is a good spot to get into some pike on church slough?

Looking to the right of the boat launch keep close to weed beds. Look in about 8ft of water.

I'm trying to find some decent pike fishing coming from Missoula. I usually fish around Noxon but this weekend the ice was not flushable. Thanks in advance for any pointers

Might have some luck on Swan Lake. Although haven't heard any great ice reports yet. Seely Lake has some. However we haven't heard any reports on ice there either.
