Good ice still. Walking out from the launch up at the pull out above islands. Good ice 6"-8". Good Perch and Pike being caught. |
Island Lake |
5"-7" of ice. Lots of good eater Perch. Few Pike also. |
Flathead River Sloughs |
5"-7" of ice. Perch, Pike, Peamouth (bait). |
Thompson Chain |
Lower & Middle are capped. No real good ice yet. Upper has decent ice, 5"-6". Perch and a few Pike. |
Hubbart Reservoir |
6"-8" of ice. Rainbows & Kokanee are being caught. |
Lake Five |
6"-8" of ice. Few small Kokanee. Hasn't really turned on yet. |

3"-5". Be careful, could vary! Picking up Perch & Pike, also Rainbow and Lake Trout. |
Island Lake |
3"-5". Tons of decent Perch. Some Pike and Sunnys. |
Thompson (Middle and Lower) |
Still open for the most part. Watch for them to lock up here this week. |
Upper Thompson |
3"-5". Good Perch and a few Pike. |
Flathead River |
Really cold but still catching Whitefish. |

Still catching Whitefish but very cold. |
- You need 3-4" of good clear ice to walk!
- 8-10" to ride an ATV on.
