Fishing Hotline: 756-BAIT (2248) Posted 09/26/14 Fall Mack Days Start Sept. 26 Runs - Nov. 16th Flathead Lake: Lake Trout will start heading shallower for spawn. Right now fishing around 100' & under. Trolling flies, spoons, cha cha's ect. If looking for numbers target smaller fish 130'+- Glow grubs, lead jigging spoons. Flathead River System: Fly fishing still good. look for smaller caddis hatches. Whitefish river run is coming anytime- small green jigs along with lead jigging spoon. Lake Mary Ronan: Perch bite still on great #s. 8"-11". Salmon Snagging: Has been great. Good run. Little McGregor: Fishing good for Perch & Rainbow.

Bait under bobber mostly. Blackfoot Res. Lakes: Starting to turn on. Flathead River System: Fly fishing has been great, small bugs, few hoppers still working. Snagging Season: Opens Sept 15th. Fishing Hotline: 756-BAIT (2248) Posted 08/28/14 Flathead Lake: Been slow for most. Few Lake Trout being caught, trolling mostly. Delta producing a few Whitefish - Look for the Whitefish to start heading up the river. Little McGregor - Lion Lake: Both producing nice Perch and Rainbow. Lower Stillwater: Lots of eater Pike. Few big Perch. Lake Mary Ronan: Perch turning back on with cooler temps. Echo Lake: Kokanee - Jigging & Trolling Fly Fisherman: Early morning, Late Evenings. Hatches, Big Bug still fishing too. |
