Canyon Ferry Sunrise Lions Perch Derby
The team derby was on Sunday (January 25, 2015). Snappy's Team took 2nd place in the team event 3 man team heaviest weight of 10 perch. I think our weight was 8.14lb. The Team included Chancy, Jason Mundel and Adam Nelson. Those are all perch from Canyon Ferry. Snappy's Fishing Report

Lower has some Perch and Pike as well. Lake Mary Ronan: Fish good for lots of eater Perch 7"-10". Few Piggies. Kokanee doing OK- decent night bite. Island Lake: Roads rough. Perch biting OK. Lynch Lake: Pike fishing great (Tip Ups) Lower Stillwater: Ice conditions getting better. Perch good. Spearing has been good. Bitteroot Lake: Kokanee fishing great, 60'-80'. Ice decent. Ashley Lake: Walking only. Few Kokanee being caught. Whitefish Lake: Lake Trout are biting. Whitefish slowing down. McGregor Lake: Opened up, only 1/2 the lake is frozen. Fishing Hotline: 756-BAIT (2248) 01/14/2015 Smith Lake: Has slowed way down! Few Perch and Pike still being caught. Lake Mary Ronan: Perch fishing good. Lake conditions not great. Right off State Launch is fishing well. Echo Lake: Slushy, few Kokanee being caught. Lower Stillwater Lake: Lake condition horrible. BUt if you can get out on it Perch & Pike are fishing good. Foy's Lake: Rainbows biting well no reports on Kokanee Roger's Lake: Ice good Grayling & Cuts have been up & down. Lake Five: Producing limits of Kokanee, few Perch Bitterroot Lake: Blue Grouse has OK ice.
