![]() First there was One. Then we had Two. Now we have THREE! Our first egg showed up on 04/28/2016. Then we saw the second egg on 05/01/2016, and then on 05/04/2016 we saw a third egg. Four eggs in a nest would be rare, however we might get lucky. The numbers of eggs primarily depends on diet, and these birds have a 24 7 buffet, right at their feet. Plus, we think these are three-year-olds, so they are no doubt very healthy and quite "in to" the family thing. So a 4th egg may yet be coming. The incubation time we are told, is 28 to 30 days, so chicks in late May, early June.

I lived in Montana in the 70s an 80s in Kalispell and went to our store a lot, but now I am in Missouri .My Mom sent the link so I can watch the cam I think it is real interesting to be able to watch the birds, cause I love nature . Comments are closed.
